Description
ROBAX® is a transparent ceramic glass manufactured by Schott and distributed - cut and sized to spec - by MD Glass. It has very low thermal expansion and can be produced in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. It is particularly suited for use as a thermal window in room heating devices (e.g., stoves and fireplace inserts).
ROBAX® IR has an electrically conductive coating that reflects the infrared portion of the radiation (i.e., the thermal radiation) without diminishing the degree of light transmission in the visible area. It is ideally suited for applications that require good transparency as well as reduced thermal radiation (e.g., vision panels for room heaters).
